The Nashville Sounds have established themselves as contenders in minor league baseball. In 2018 they had a winning record and placed second in the American Southern Division within the Pacific Coast League. They are the AAA affiliate team of the Texas Rangers. This team is so well supported that the fans often complain about the wait time to get into the First Tennessee Park. The first Sounds game played at the new part was in April of 2015. The baseball park stadium seats up to 10,000 fans and is located downtown. The Sounds keep the community involved with special events and promotions. They offer a fireworks display on Friday night and Booster the Hot Chicken mascot always entertains both kids and adults during the game.

Nashville Kangaroos

The Nashville Kangaroos are a team of pro Australian Football players. It is clear that these players are passionate about the game and a having a great time whenever they play. Not many people have heard of ‘Footy’ as it is called, but the rules of this game are simple and the game is quite engaging. The game basically includes the best features of American football, soccer and rugby. Why not check them out the next time you are in town? You can find them at Elmington Park on West End when they play against teams from out of town.

The Titans are a team of professional football players that play with heart and soul. The fans here are also loyal and most locals will tell you that watching football is just ‘part of what they do.’ The team has recently made some welcomed changes to the way they are managed and how the team is structured. Nashville Soccer Club is a professional soccer team coached by Gary Smith. This team was recently founded in 2016 and is working hard to earn the loyalty of the locals. Their big debut was in 2018 in the United Soccer League. They will move to the Major League Soccer league soccer soon with ticket purchases available now. These games will be played in Nissan Stadium.
